Species: Cedar, Alaska Yellow Cupressus nootkatensis
Technically speaking, Alaskan Yellow Cedar is not a true cedar, but an evergreen. Widely used for exterior applications and boatbuilding. Very durable and offers a solid dimensional stability. Naturally resistant to weather, insects and contact with soil. Alaskan Yellow Cedar's uniform color and straight grain will take a fine finish.
