Species: Shedua   Guibourtia ehie

West African Shedua is also known as Amazaque. Color ranges from yellow to dark brown with almost black veining; its related botanically to Bubinga. Shedua is heavy with a medium texture and interlocking grain. Resembles Walnut, but has a fairly regular stripe. Works and glues very well.
